Government

Our political structure is unusual. St. Louis City is a county in itself, separate from St. Louis County. If you live in the larger portion of Parkview Gardens which is on the County side, you will go to the complex at Central Avenue and Forsyth Boulevard in Clayton, the county seat, for most official business. It’s only a couple of miles to the southwest, left on Big Bend, right on Forest Park. It’s on the Blue Line of MetroLink.
